Overview

Designed for individuals who intend to practice as first aiders within the workplace. The course provides a sound knowledge and understanding of approved procedures and techniques to be used when confronted with illness or injury at work. Successful candidates will be awarded a First Aid at Work certificate approved by the Health and Safety Executive for the purposes of the Health and Safety (First Aid) Regulations 1981. The certificate is valid for three years from the date of issue.

Assessment Method

Paper based multiple choice assessment and practical examination.

Duration

3 Day programme.

Qualification

HSE approved First Aid at Work Certificate.
